Round 5, Pick 170: Colts Select RB Vick Ballard

With the last pick of the 5th round, at number 170 overall, the Indianapolis Colts selectedMississippiState running back Vick Ballard.
Ballard, a 5-10, 215 pound back, is a very physical running back who is patient and who keeps his legs pumping when hit. He has soft hands and from what I hear, has a very good work ethic.
I did not get this pick at all. But this is the reality of where the Colts are headed: a power run game. Chuck Pagano has said as much, and with two tight ends and a power back drafted, it seems to be taking shape (Don’t worry, Colts fans, they will still pass quite a bit – that is why they drafted Andrew Luck, after all).
Ballard will likely be part of a running back rotation with Donald Brown and Delone Carter (whom Ballard kind of reminds me of) inIndianapolis. On inside zone runs, Ballard could be a spectacular player.
5 of the Colts first 6 picks have been offensive. Ballard shows that the Colts are looking towards developing a power running game.
The Colts have 4 picks remaining. What do they need, besides cornerback, Colts Nation?
