Colts’ Longtime OT Ryan Diem to Retire

Colts owner Jim Irsay announced on twitter this morning that Ryan Diem will retire:

ColtFans,met with Ryan D,big#71 in ur hearts n program,yesterday;he is going 2 retire,raise those new twins,we wish him happy alumnus status

Diem started 150 games in his 11 year career, all with the Colts.  He was selected in the 4th round of the 2001 NFL Draft out of Northern Illinois. 

4 times in his career he started all 16 games (2002, 2004, 2008, 2010) and 2 other times started all but one (2006, 2009). 

Diem contributed alot to the horseshoe and was part of one of the most prolific offenses of all time.
