The Decision: Looking at the Buffalo Bills’ Chances of Landing Peyton Manning

The Decision: Looking at where Peyton Manning may end up if he becomes a free agent… today, we look at the:

With the way the Bills started the season, I thought Ryan Fitzpatrick would be their starting quarterback for years to come.  They inked him to a new deal.  And he still may be their quarterback for a while.  But would they pursue Peyton Manning?

First off, I doubt it.  They need to resign Stevie Johnson, and have plenty of other holes to fill.  But a healthy Peyton would automatically make them much better.  But good enough to make a run at a super bowl?

I do not think so.  And Peyton will only go where he can win a super bowl.

Also, the weather in Buffalo is cold and snowy during football season.  What superstar quarterback who is nearing the end of his career would choose to go to a place with a sub-par team and bad weather?

Peyton will not go to Buffalo.

Chances of landing Manning:                      2/10

Chances of playoffs with healthy Manning:                       90%

Chances of winning super bowl with healthy Manning:   35%
