Indianapolis Makes Successful First Impression

The national media arrived in Indianapolis today, and from what they tweeted the city seems to have made a very good first impression.

Brian McCarthy, the NFL’s public relations guy:

Are u experienced? Yes, Indy is and how. NFL Experience set a single-day record Saturday w/ 42,238 fans
Tony Dungy, former Colts super bowl winning head coach and NBC Sports analyst:
I am definitely feeling the energy being back in Indianapolis. Hometown fans are great!
We’re in Lucas Oil Stadium for pre game show of the Pro Bowl. Stadium looks awesome!
Adam Schefter, ESPN NFL Insider:
A Super Bowl guarantee: Indianapolis will be a great host.
Judy Battista, New York Times NFL writer:
Indy — fantastic layout for the SB. Also the wings at the hotel are really good.
Darren Rovell, NBC, in response to Battista’s tweet:
As I said, will be easiest to navigate in Super Bowl history
Don Banks, Sports Illustrated:
Bound for 1st Pats media session of SB week, and with hotel only 5-6 minute bus ride away, already loving Indy as host.
Bob Kravitz, Indianapolis Star writer:
NFL owners can make more $$ in bigger venues, but if Indy hits it out of park and owners/fans/teams love it, city has a chance a 2nd time.
Will Carroll, Sports Illustrated:
Downtown looks beautiful. Lots of things to do, places to go this early in Super Bowl week. I’m impressed. #social46
The Official Super Bowl XLVI twitter account:
Thank you to the nearly 100,000 fans that visited the #NFLExperience this weekend! More fun to come this week
Pete Prisco, CBS:
Indianapolis will be one of the best Super Bowl cities ever. Watch.
Adam Schein, Fox Sports and SiriusXM NFL Radio:
I love the welcome note from the kids. 8 year old “Brianna in Rochester” says “we have good citizens and Indiana is a beautiful state.” Nice
