“It’s Time to Talk About Luck” – Nate Dunlevy of 18to88.com takes an excellent look at the possiblities the Colts have regarding Andrew Luck. Very good piece.
“Now isn’t the time to grab The Next Quarterback” – Bob Kravitz of the Indianapolis Star says that insted of trying to mold their team into the Green Bay Packers with the Favre-Rodgers transition, the Colts should try the Denver Broncos in the later years of John Elway’s career. My favorite option. All depends on Manning’s health.
“Five reasons why Colts fans should stop worrying about Painter” – Phillip B. Wilson, also with the Star, gives Colts fans 5 reasons why they should stop worrying about Painter (as the title implies). Reason number 1? “He’s not very good.”
“McAfee steps up and says ‘I got this!'” – A very humorous fictional article by Wilson, imagining what it would like if emergency quarterback, punter, and fan favorite Pat McAfee was suddenly thrust into action Sunday night against Pittsburgh.
“Colts QB Peyton Manning won’t play, but he’ll help from the press box” – Mike Chappell with the Indy Star reports that number 18 will be in attendance Sunday when the Steelers come into the house that he built, but he will be in the press box next to QB coach Ron Turner. “This is new to me. But I want to be a resource. I want to help.” said Manning.
